KUNAI
A Ninja's best friend.

Kunai(plural and singular) are probably the most common weapons shown on Naruto. Basically, a Kunai is a 3 dimensional dimond with a long cylinder attatched on the upper side. A Kunai usually has tape or towels on the cylindar part for the users hand to stay comfortable. This tape can cool the users hand down because the Kunai itself is made out of Metal. What's most interesting about the Kunai though is it's ability to basically be obidient to the users charms that he/she places on the Kunai. Charms are usually just slips of paper, almost exactly like paper bombs. Ninja can attatch charms to their Kunai to have an after effect on their opponent, such as exploding at the last second, or being able to cut through pure chakra. Kunai are probably the most convinient and handy Ninja tools around. However in the U.S. these cost about $6.00

SHURIKEN
a.k.a Ninja Star

Shuriken are another type of weapon also commonly shown in Naruto. Unlike the Kunai, Shuriken are much bigger in size, and cannot have charms attatched to them. The Shuriken are more ideal for throwing, but to throw a Shuriken properly, a ninja probably has to go through months of training. These Shuriken can come in many many many shapes and sizes. Some Shuriken are even as big as the Kunai, and some Shuriken are bigger than a grown man. Either way, they still pack quite a punch. Shuriken are also compact and easy to carry, atleast the regular sized ones are(see upper picture with Kakashi) There are 4 large blades to any shuriken and these usually have a sharp pointed tip. The regular sized blades can rotate and come together again to it can fit in a book-bag, or even purse! Not the best secret weapon hence its size, but still a great one.

GUILLOTINE SWORD

As you can see by the picture, The Guillotine sword Zabuza carried was almost as big as him. Of course this sword is very heavy as you can imagine, but Zabuza has enough muscle to handle it, and use it correctly. What's really cool about this sword however is the way it can glide through air. There is 1 circular whole in the middle of the Guillotine sword, and a half circle on the edge of the sword. The wind can escape through these wholes, letting the user's hand be dragged by the swords swiftness. Zabuza is the only ninja in the show who uses this sword, and I think he's the only one who could actually use it too! :P Even so, the guillotine sword is a very strong weapon, it's stronger than the kunai or shuriken. I wouldn't neccesarily say it's better however. I could never carry a sword as big and heavy as this, even if I did have Chakra! Could you?

SEN-BON
a.k.a Metal Toothpicks

Simply put, Sen bon are throwing needles. These needles are very slim(less than a centimeter) and usually vary from 5 inches to 10 inches in length. Sen bon are made out of metal and cannot kill anyone unless it hits a vital organ. Usually Sen-bon are used just to scratch up the opponenent. In some cases, with correct aim, a Senbon can kill a person if it hits the correct spot. This is probably the worst ninja weapon for dirrect attacks. Sen-bon are still a popular weapon however due to the easieness of carrying.

TEMARI'S FAN
The giant thing Temari carries. Duh!

A fan. What good is that? Well, actually, it's a great weapon. Temari's fan just isn't for looks- it can blow out all the competiton, literally. Temari's fan is the size almost the size of her, so you can probably imagine how big a gust of wind this thing can blow. Using the fan, Temari can blow away people, weapons, and anyother thing you can chuck at her. Unlike Gaara's sand however, Temari controls this fan with her hands, and the wind with her chakra. Ever been in a tornado? Well, that's exactly what you'll be in if you keep doubting Temari's fan!

SHINO'S BUGS
The Stuff inside Shino. Duh.

Okay, if you thought a fan was a good idea- well just look at this. Bugs. We crush them all the time- did you ever think they could crush you? Well, when you are able to control over a million of them, you bet they can. Shino is a bug tamer, and he's pretty good at it. He controls bugs, interacts with bugs, and can understand bugs. Shino's bugs are his greatest weapons, but the bugs don't come free. Shino set up a good system with the bugs: Kill his opponent as payment for their home(his body)
And Shino lets them eat his opponents Chakra, as a thanks for helping him in the first place. Even a single bug of Shino's can be used as a tracker of an opponenent. And you thought a beatle was useless all this time.
